Casual Retail Staff — World Cup Event Merchandise

KAP7 Australia is looking for casual retail staff to help run our merchandise store at the Water Polo World Cup in Sydney.

This is a great short-term opportunity for people who enjoy sport, retail, customer service, and working in a fast-paced event environment.

About the role

You will help sell official event merchandise and KAP7 products to spectators, athletes, families, and supporters across the event.

The role will include:

  • Serving customers and processing sales through our POS system

  • Helping customers with sizes, product options, and general enquiries

  • Restocking and presenting merchandise

  • Keeping the retail area clean, organised, and professional

  • Assisting with opening, closing, and basic stock counts

  • Working as part of a small, friendly event retail team

Hours

Shifts are likely to be:

  • Wednesday to Friday: approximately 4:00pm – 10:00pm

  • Saturday and Sunday: all-day availability preferred

Exact shift times will be confirmed closer to the event.

About you

We are looking for people who are reliable, friendly, and comfortable dealing with customers.

You do not need extensive retail experience, but you should have:

  • Basic customer service skills

  • Confidence using, or learning to use, a retail POS system

  • A positive attitude and willingness to help

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work during busy periods

  • Availability across some or all event days

Training will be provided.
