Train under the Spanish water polo methodology that has produced Olympic and World Champions.

KAP7 Australia has partnered with Barcelona International Water Polo Academy (BIWPA) to bring one of the world’s leading water polo development programs to Australia.

This 5-day high-performance camp will give athletes the opportunity to learn directly from BIWPA coaches, experience elite training concepts used in Europe, and be identified for future opportunities to train in Barcelona.

TOP 10 ATHLETES TO BE INVITED TO BARCELONA!

The top 10 athletes from the camp will receive a discounted opportunity to train in Barcelona with BIWPA, alongside international athletes and coaches.

  • Daily Schedule

    Boys to train in the morning and girls in the afternoon

    Boys Sessions: 9:00am – 12:30pm
    Girls Sessions: 1:30pm – 5:00pm

  • Athlete Capacity

    Each gender group is limited to 30 field players and up to 6 goalkeepers, ensuring a high coach-to-athlete ratio and individual feedback.

Expert Coaching Staff

The camp will be led by BIWPA Coach Yuri Colet, bringing the methodology used at the Barcelona International Water Polo Academy.

Yuri Colet is one of the co-founders of BIWPA, coach, and technical director of the Academy and Barcelona Water polo Club.

In his career as a professional coach, he has worked for several prestigious clubs in Barcelona such as AE Santa Eulàlia, CN Sant Andreu, and CN Poble Nou. In the case of CN Poble Nou, he achieved two consecutive promotions with the men's senior team to the Primera División Nacional.

Additionally, Colet served as the technical director for Aquàtics Sóller in Mallorca for two years, and also coached the Balearic Islands selection.

Colet holds the highest coaching certification from both the Catalan and Spanish federations, and he underwent training in the high-performance technical program at the High-Performance Center (CAR).
